- Easily save methods and results to USB memory stick
- Purity scan over entire wavelength
The PCRmax Lambda 3-in-1 spectrophotometer offers the ability to measure micro-volume samples with a high degree of accuracy and reproducibility in less than 6.5 seconds, plus it also function as a standard or life science spectrophotometer. The perfect choice for any lab!
Designed to be quick and easy to use, the UV/Vis spectrophotometer’s ability to measure sample volumes from 0.5 to 5 µl means minimal sample loss and eliminates the need for sample dilutions and cuvettes. Samples are pipetted directly onto the stainless steel read head with an embedded quartz lens, which utilizes the natural surface tension of the droplet to form the bond between the read head surfaces. The read heads can be quickly cleaned with a microfiber cloth to remove all traces of the sample, allowing faster change over between samples.
As a standard spectrophotometer, the unit comes preprogrammed with measurement modes for photometrics, concentration, multiwavelength, spectrum scanning, quantitation, and kinetics.
The unit can also be used as a fully functional life science spectrophotometer with measurement modes for nucleic acid purity, protein assays, nucleic acid concentration, and optical density of cell cultures.
