MBA200 “MAIHAK” Rotating Paddle
Thanks to its rotating paddle technology, the MBA200 limit switch reliably measures various filling products such as granulates, feeds, spices or powders. It is used as a full-, requirement- and empty- detector of bulk material in large storage silos as well as in small containers. In downpipes and conveyors, it signals a backlog in the product stream in good time. Even under difficult operating conditions, the limit switch provides reliable measurements.
Background
Robust, safe and reliable – for more than 70 years, the “Maihak” rotating paddle has proven its worth. The tried-and-tested design has been improved with the MBA200 with many attractive functional advantages. It has an AC motor that is powerful and durable. In models for DC supply, a built-in inverter provides the appropriate motor supply. When the paddle is stopped, the motor switches off automatically, so it does not consume any energy and is not under load during standstill. For food applications there is a special stainless steel version.
