Valpres manufactures ball valves and has been one of the first to introduce the split body concept in the industry. Today Valpres designs and manufactures a wide range of high quality, manually operated or automated, on-off and control ball valves for any kind of service in the oil, gas, water, steam and power generating industry, as well as general industry.
The basic valve design is side-entry construction (bolted or welded), but the product line is completed with a top entry design that has the advantage to be field serviceable without removing the valve from the line.
Side entry-bolted body and top entry valves are available with metal or soft seats and are also available in customized designs suitable for non-standard services such as: highly corrosive, lethal, SIL, cryogenic, high temperature, erosive.
Valpres trunnion valves can be used in a variety of markets and applications, such as, even if not limited to: • Upstream liquid and gaseus hydrocarbons processing.
• LNG & GTL.
• Gas transmission and distribution.
• Power industry and steam generation.
• Petrochemical industry.
• Water transmission & desalination plants.
The valves are available in the following size/ratings, both in full and reduced bore, according to API 6D/API6A configurations. Other sizes and reductions may be available upon request.
From -196°C (-320°F) to +420°C (+788°F).
Higher temperature ratings are available upon request.
Valpres valves can be supplied with manual lever/gearboxes (depending on the required torque figures and in compliance with the applicable labour laws or safety specifications) or with any types of actuators, i.e. pneumatic, hydraulic, gas over oil, electric, etc. 100% of the valves are tested as a package prior to delivery.
There is also the opportunity to supply the complete valve and actuator package together with the Valbia rack and pinion pneumatic actuator or electric actuator.
